- I think this was the same CNN report that said that the Pentium was 'the
- fastest chip in the world'. That's bad press? Talk about stupidity.
- Even if you talk to any guy on the street about the Pentium they'd agree
- that there probably exist faster chips than the Pentium that they probably
- use for expensive mainframes. How can anyone possibly believe that a
- desktop CPU is 'the fastest in the world'? Just goes to show that the
- press is a willing participant in the Intel monopoly even when it is
- trying to work against Intel.
